Experience: Art Director of Illustration, LEGO Consumer Marketing Agency

Creating packaging artwork, marketing illustrations, and comic books for LEGO's novelty and licensed IPs, including LEGO Super Heroes, Ninjago, Star Wars™, Bionicle™, Jurassic World™, and Friends™. Providing art and concept support for marketing initiatives, events, and LEGO Club.

Led and directed small teams in producing 160 trading card illustrations for the LEGO Legends of Chima playtheme.

Work conducted almost entirely in Photoshop, with supporting work in Maya and Illustrator, and a lot more Excel spreadsheets than you would probably guess.

Created concept and inspiration paintings in support of development, marketing, and community efforts. Following successful game launch in October 2010, created marketing illustrations and key visuals to accompany each new content release.
LEGO Universe
Lead Artist for "Tech Deck Live" MMO
Spin Master Studios , 2006-2008
Assembled and led the art team for development of online games based on Spin Master toy properties, from working solo at studio launch up to a team of eleven artists in full production. Core game development duties included art pipeline development and management, concept development, low-poly level and character modeling and texturing in 3DS Max for Shockwave output, vector art and scripting for 2D Flash games, and finalizing all art assets for consistency.

Concept development for a wide variety of LEGO toys and products, including Minifigures, Architecture, Vikings, Exo-Force, Creator, and Knights Kingdom. Product development for Knights Kingdom, including early model-building, playset design development, and visual and story development for the Knights IP.

Knights Kingdom won the Toy Industry Association's Toy of the Year Award in 2005 in the Boys' Toy category, and was among LEGO's top-performing themes in 2004 and 2005.

Responsible for production of illustrations for package exteriors, in-box comics, trading cards, magazine pages, and other promotional artwork for LEGO's Knights Kingdom theme, both working solo and leading small art-production teams.
