This was one of my rare editorial illustrations. At the time, Garbage was still touring in support of their "2.0" album, so I painted this pair of discarded self-destructive party girls.

I think I saw a bunny making the same kind of valentine in a painting at one of Tara McPherson's shows, I hope she didn't paint that one before I painted this one. I spent enough time trying to steal her techniques when we were in college, I'd hate to find out I'd done it by accident here.
